ALBERTA CONDUCTED FIVE NEW AAIP DRAWS
On June 25, 2025, the Government of Alberta published the results of five recent draws conducted through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). These targeted draws continue Alberta’s strategic focus on addressing specific labour shortages through sector-specific immigration pathways.
The draws were held as follows:
On June 5, 2025, Alberta invited 18 healthcare professionals through the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors pathway.
On June 10, 33 invitations were issued under the Dedicated Health Care Pathway for non-Express Entry candidates, further reinforcing the province’s commitment to supporting its healthcare system.
On June 17, a draw under the Tourism and Hospitality Stream resulted in 39 invitations, reflecting demand in Alberta’s service industry.
On June 18, a small draw was held for the Law Enforcement Pathway, with fewer than 10 Express Entry candidates invited.
On June 19, the Accelerated Tech Pathway invited 22 Express Entry candidates, continuing efforts to attract skilled tech professionals.
These five draws underscore Alberta’s multi-sector immigration approach, targeting professionals in healthcare, hospitality, law enforcement, and technology to support the province’s workforce needs.
As of June 25, Alberta has issued a total of 1,497 invitations through all AAIP streams in 2025.
