The Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship program recently changed. The Program opens once a year usually with an intake cap of 10,000 applications. It might seem like a big number, but it is a cap was reached fast. That means there are a lot of people wanting to have access to this program since your Parents or Grandparents may come as Permanent Residents into Canada and we all know that is a great opportunity for a family.

Each year the system to access this program might change, so you have to be up to date. This 2020 the program will open in October. For this specific category we suggest you Subscribe to our Newsletter or check our News Section through out the year as changes to this program are made yearly.

Now if you want to sponsor your parents or grandparents you will have to make an expression of interest. The 2020 Expression of Interest will open from October 13, 2020 to November 3, 2020. The minimum income requirements for the 2020 will be updated.
