OTTAWA INVITED 3,000 CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS CANDIDATES UNDER EXPRESS ENTRY
On June 12, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw targeting candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), a program designed for individuals with skilled work experience in Canada.
In round #351, IRCC issued 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 529, which represents a decrease of 18 points from the previous CEC-specific draw. The tie-breaking rule was applied to candidates who submitted their Express Entry profile before September 28, 2024, at 18:06:46 UTC.
As of June 11, 2025, there were 257,557 profiles in the Express Entry pool. This draw brings the total number of ITAs issued in 2025 to 38,342 through 21 rounds.
The Canadian Experience Class continues to be a key pathway to permanent residency, particularly for temporary residents already contributing to Canada's workforce. By focusing on individuals who have already demonstrated their ability to adapt and succeed in the Canadian labour market, IRCC aims to strengthen long-term economic integration.
