OTTAWA INVITED 3,000 CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS CANDIDATES UNDER EXPRESS ENTRY

On June 12, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw focused on Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. This draw, identified as round #351, resulted in the issuance of 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residency to eligible candidates.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required in this round was 529 points, marking a decrease of 18 points compared to the previous CEC-specific draw. The tie-breaking rule for this draw was applied to candidates who submitted their profiles before September 28, 2024, at 18:06:46 UTC.

As of June 11, 2025, there were 257,557 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool. With this latest round, the total number of invitations issued in 2025 reached 38,342 across 21 Express Entry draws.

The Canadian Experience Class remains a popular pathway for temporary residents in Canada to obtain permanent residency, especially those with skilled work experience in the country. This draw highlights IRCC’s continued commitment to welcoming skilled workers who have already demonstrated their ability to contribute to the Canadian economy.
