Provinces Accelerate Immigration Through Multiple Targeted Draws
Canada’s Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) continue to play a pivotal role in addressing regional labour shortages across the country. During the last week of October and the first half of November 2025, three provinces—Alberta, Manitoba, and Newfoundland & Labrador—conducted new selection rounds under their respective immigration programs, collectively inviting hundreds of skilled workers, international graduates, and sector-specific candidates.
These new draws showcase each province’s unique strategies to attract talent and respond to workforce needs in healthcare, construction, law enforcement, hospitality, and other critical sectors.
