THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA INVITED 1,000 CEC CANDIDATES IN THE EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW #375

Supporting Skilled Workers Already in Canada

On October 28, 2025, IRCC held a new Canadian Experience Class (CEC) targeted draw, highlighting Canada’s strategy to retain skilled workers who already have Canadian work experience, cultural familiarity, and established community ties.

Draw Results

In round #375, IRCC issued:

  • 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to CEC candidates

Key metrics:

  • CRS Cut-off Score: 533 (1 point lower than previous CEC draws)

  • Tie-breaking rule: March 21, 2025 at 04:16:27 UTC

  • Express Entry pool size as of October 26: 248,253 profiles

In total, Canada has issued 75,485 ITAs in 2025 across all Express Entry programs.

Why CEC Candidates Are Important for Canada

CEC applicants are highly valued because:

  • They already work and pay taxes in Canada

  • They adapt more quickly to the labor market

  • Employers prefer candidates who are already trained in Canadian workplace standards

  • CEC pathways reduce the uncertainty associated with overseas recruitment

Thus, CEC draws help strengthen economic stability and long-term workforce capacity.

A Strong Recommendation for Temporary Residents

If you are already studying or working in Canada, this may be the ideal time to transition to PR.
