CANADA HELD THE 11TH PNP-TARGETED EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW
On June 23, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted Express Entry draw #352, issuing 503 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) stream. This marks the 11th PNP-targeted draw of the year, reinforcing Canada’s strategy to prioritize applicants with strong provincial ties and labour market alignment.
The cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for this round was 742 points, a 42-point decrease compared to the previous PNP-specific draw, making this round more accessible to a broader range of provincial nominees. The tie-breaking rule was applied to profiles submitted before May 30, 2025, at 21:44:57 UTC.
As of June 22, 2025, there were 256,754 profiles in the Express Entry pool. With this round, Canada has issued a total of 38,845 ITAs through 22 Express Entry draws so far this year, including 5,495 invitations specifically for PNP candidates.
The PNP stream remains a critical tool in Canada’s immigration strategy, allowing provinces and territories to nominate candidates who meet specific regional labour needs. These candidates receive additional CRS points, significantly increasing their chances of receiving an ITA.
