NEW BRUNSWICK CONDUCTED FIVE NEW DRAWS UNDER THE NBPNP

On June 18, 2025, the Government of New Brunswick released the results of five recent immigration draws held under the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP). These draws, conducted through the province’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system, are part of New Brunswick’s ongoing efforts to streamline its immigration process and address targeted labour market needs.

The draws occurred on May 5 and June 16–17, 2025, and resulted in the issuance of 743 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across two major streams:

  • NB Skilled Worker – NB Experience Stream

  • NB Skilled Worker – NB Graduates Stream

Additionally, on June 16, the province invited 297 candidates through the NB Express Entry Stream under the Employment in New Brunswick category, which focuses on applicants with a valid job offer from a New Brunswick employer.

A notable development was the first-ever NB Priority Occupations draw, conducted under the NB Skilled Worker stream. This new category aims to attract candidates with experience in high-demand occupations, further aligning provincial immigration with employer needs.

With these draws, New Brunswick has invited a total of 2,015 candidates through the NBPNP in 2025, reinforcing the province’s commitment to building a strong, skilled, and regionally balanced workforce.
